Laura Linney, best known for portraying strong, but weak characters, is among of the most acclaimed American actors of the present. After spending the summers at the company of her father Laura Linney was captivated with the theatre. After that, at Brown University she studied acting and also at Juilliard School, after which, her career took off. After graduating from Brown University, she began making her Broadway debut shortly thereafter. After two years of that, her first film hit the market, and following year, her debut on television. Since then, she's appeared in numerous films, television productions as well as stage productions. During her career she received numerous awards including the two Golden Globe Awards.
